My family works hard everyday, but little/no progress. What should I do?

1 min read

As a child of God, whenever you feel you are making no progress or running in a circus, it is time to act. Not making any or little progress can be associated to being stagnant or remaining in the same spot for a long time doing the same thing over and over again.

In no time, you will be frustrated and you do not want to transfer that frustration to your friends and loved ones. Here is what you should do:

Act 16: 23-28

*Paul and Silas were thrown into prison

**The jailer put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks.

***About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the other prisoners were listening to them.

****Suddenly, there were such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken.

*****At once, all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.

******The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.

*******But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here.

Lesson

*Whenever you feel you are making little or no progress, wake up in the middle of the night.

**Pray and sing hymns to God in the middle of the night.

***Your situation is in trouble whenever you do the above. God looks down on you and everything related to you including your situation.

**** And your enemies/situation will pay a great deal of price for what they did to His child.

Pray with me

Let the mighty arm of God, which broke the chains of Paul and Silas in prison, break every chain connecting me to my past and restricting me from the future God has planned for my family and me. (Acts 16:25-34) NIV.
