Isaac the son of Abraham prospered by relationship and not by formula. Read it again

*Worship God and put Him in remembrance of His WORD that “I will bless you there“.

*Isaac had a family, servants and cattle to support.

*When Isaac decided to obey God’s voice to stay in the land of famine (Canaan), there might have been someone in Isaac’s household who taught that he had lost his mind.

*When Isaac decided to stay in the land of famine (Canaan).

*All Isaac could do after obeying God’s voice was to worship God and put Him in remembrance of His WORD that “I will bless you there”.

*When Isaac worships God, it throws the ball back to God’s court.

**Isaac obeyed God and stayed in the land of famine.

**Isaac was standing on God’s WORD and it was God’s responsibility to manifest His WORD.

**God manifested His WORD by giving Isaac an idea that no man had ever had before.

*Once God put the “word of knowledge” (idea) in his heart, the ball was in Isaac’s court.

**Once you receive the idea from God, then it is up to you to ACT ON IT.

**God did not dig the wells for Isaac (That was Isaac’s responsibility).

**Did you notice the 2-way communication.

NOTE:

*Resistance came in the form of the Philistines stopping up the wells of water, yet Isaac endured and continued to act on the WORD of knowledge that God had given him.

**Isaac endured patiently until he received the blessing.

**Isaac had learnt well the secret of endurance and trust in God’s WORD from having watched his father Abraham (Hebrew 6:13).

Pray with me

*Open the eyes of my heart. May I see the many blessings you bestow on me, especially the very small ones that I sometimes take for granted.

*Almighty God, I pray that I will be taken into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with You, where I will grow in faith and hear the still small voice within my soul.
